PJ began her career in the staffing industry in 1987. Over time, it became clear that she wanted to strike out on her own: in 1999 PJ opened ABL Employment Inc with a commitment to deliver caring, personal service to our client companies, our assignment employees, and our communities.

PJ has been nominated 3 times for RBC’s Women Entrepreneur of the year award. She has been on Profit Magazine's list of Canada's Top Women Entrepreneurs for many years, and Profit Magazine’s Profit 500 list for fastest growing companies in Canada. PJ recently accepted the BDO Business Value Award on behalf of ABL. In 2015, ABL became a WBE Canada Certified “Women’s Business Enterprise”.

PJ has built a corporate team of sales and service professionals: all of whom are dedicated to our clients and assignment employees’ needs.

Hayley Yurgan - Manager of ABL Careers

Hayley started as a receptionist at ABL in 2011. Since then Hayley has worked as a staffing coordinator providing staffing for clients in Halton, Peel and GTA. She also previously worked as a recruiting specialist, helping to initially develop the role. Hayley worked as part of the after-hours team on evenings and weekends to ensure the needs of our assignment employees and clients were met even after office hours. Hayley has become very familiar with the many aspects of the staffing industry including recruiting, placement, and sales. Her previous experience and extensive understanding of ABL operations has allowed for Hayley to have a comprehensive understanding of the business. Hayley’s current role is Manager of ABL Careers, where she is part of a team launching the new Toronto office. Furthermore, Hayley has a background and education in research, with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from Queens University, which contributes to her solution-driven approach to staffing. Hayley prides herself on finding the right fit for both the assignment employee and the client.

From bilingual call centre staff for large insurance companies to customized testing packages to assist companies to make the right hire, Jill Dee’s team has found the right answers for ABL client companies.

Dave has been managing and coaching teams for over 15 years. His affinity for mentoring is a wonderful advantage to our operation, and nicely compliments his work with other teams within ABL, such as our senior management team, our corporate payroll team and our after-hours operations. This cross-pollination of ideas allows ABL to standardize and optimize processes across all levels of our company, to provide customer service excellence to our clients and assignment employees.

In this role, Sarah Jane’s prime directive is to ensure that all levels of ABL staff are nurturing and developing a culture of creating “A Better Life” for our team mates, client companies and assignment employees. She continues to search out innovative ways to develop and enrich learning opportunities for the ABL team, so they can reach their career development goals. Sarah Jane is a customer service professional, with a background in marketing, an affinity for strategic analysis and an experienced project manager: she is often called on to consult on new or large-scale project ramp-ups for various ABL client partnerships.

Jeff and his team work diligently to align ABL with strong, reputable client companies in today’s market, by diligently analyzing opportunities identified by his team and other ABL staff. ABL’s growth across all regions is in part due to Jeff’s extensive customer service and sales industry experience: as such, ABL has been able to penetrate new and existing markets and attract new client companies to embrace our business model for temporary and long-term staffing.

ABL's Occupational Wellness Manager, Carla Villalta, has over 20 years' experience working with a variety of organizations and provides expert advice relating to health and safety issues to our associates and client companies. She is passionate about developing innovative and proactive programs to promote wellness and, in true ABL spirit, "A Better Life"!

Area Manager: British Columbia (Offices in New Westminster & Surrey)

Heather is the Area Manager for our British Columbia region. She brings 20+ years of Transportation & Logistics experience to the ABL team.  With Heather's extensive knowledge and experience in operations and business solutions, she is able to work closely with client companies to create attraction and retention campaigns that will get them the desired results in a challenging and fast-changing market.
